Mobile Unicorn Rules:

⦁ Member must be 18 years of age or older. 

⦁ No glass is allowed during parades.

⦁ Animals are prohibited while parading, except service animals.

⦁ There is no use of bullhorns or a microphone while parading.

⦁ No motorized vehicles (you may pull wagons, ice chests, or rolling storage.)

⦁ No inappropriate acts of any kind to the krewe or the crowd (sex acts, physical assault, verbal assault, etc.)

⦁ No smoking of any kind while parading.

⦁ No fireworks, firearms, weapons, or life-threatening objects of any kind.

⦁ No discrimination of any kind to members or crowd. Mobile Unicorns is an inclusive organization. We do not discriminate based on religious beliefs, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. As a private group, we have the authority to refuse membership and revoke membership if the current or prospective member does not obey the rules of the organization.

⦁ Must follow all rules and regulations set forth by the city, state, and parade organization.

⦁ Throws: Our official throws are fun-size rainbow candy packs. Members may have other items as throws. Members are responsible for their own throws. No inappropriate or obscene throws. No throwing of alcohol or illegal substances. No dangerous objects. No throwing with intent to harm. No throws that are advertisements for a business organization or person.  No political, religious, sexual, lewd, or crude throws. 

⦁ No member or substitute who owes the group money for any reason will be allowed to participate in the parade.

⦁ Once paid, dues and fees are non-refundable. You may resign at any time with no refund. 

⦁ Dues must be paid by the due date given by the group in order to participate.

⦁ If a member is unable to parade, they may fill their spot with a substitute for a nonrefundable fee of $25 per parade. 

⦁ Should the group be unable to parade because of foul weather or any other reason and parade is unable to reschedule, refunds will not be issued.

⦁ Mobile Unicorns reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Mobile Unicorns may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material, including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, TV, websites, social media posts, etc. 

⦁ Mobile Unicorn members are responsible for their costumes. Members are encouraged to bring out their most festive creativity. Member costumes must include but are not limited to headpiece and festive top. Think outside the glass! Glitter, fringe, bling, wigs, and more!!

Hold Harmless Clause:

​

⦁ Mobile Unicorns is a participate at your own risk krewe.

⦁ Mobile Unicorns, its licensors, service providers, content providers, employees, agents, officers, and directors will not be liable for any incidental, direct, indirect, punitive, actual, consequential, special, exemplary, or other damages, including loss of revenue or income, pain and suffering, emotional distress, similar damages, injury, or death, even if the krewe has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will the collective liability of Olive Us and its licensors, service providers, content providers, employees, agents, officers, directors, and shareholders to any party (regardless of the form of actions, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount you have paid to the krewe for the applicable content or service out of which liability arose. 

⦁ The city's police department, or such other enforcement agency, may remove a member violating laws from the krewe during a parade. Such enforcements personnel may even remove the entire krewe from the parade. 

⦁ Members may be held responsible for the rule violations of self or their substitute and will be required to pay the fine. 

⦁ The group may impose a fine, suspend, or terminate the membership of any member who violates group rules or policies or fails to pay the amounts due. 

⦁ No member or substitute who owes the group money for any reason will be allowed to participate in the parade.

⦁ I agree to abide by the Mobile Unicorns and all other regulations as set forth by the city, state, and parade.

⦁ I understand that failure to abide by these rules and regulations will result in my personal responsibility for associated fines and could result in removal as a member from Mobile Unicorns. 

⦁ I understand that all prepaid dues are non-refundable should I resign from the group at any time during the year. 

⦁ I understand and agree and do hereby release the Mobile Unicorns and/or their representatives from any liability for any injury or harm to myself which may occur because of my participation in any Mobile Unicorns events. I have been informed of safety precautions and have been advised there can be no guarantee my participation in the parade in entirely risk free. I therefore agree to assume the risk of any injury which may occur to me.
