Krewe of Phoenix
The Krewe of Phoenix  (K.O.P.) is an all-inclusive, alternative Mardi Gras Organization in Mobile, Alabama. We have nine founding members who started the organization in January 2009. Our first general meeting with charter members was held March 22, 2009.

Our main objective is to give viable support to the community. Our hope is to make a comfortable environment that will be fulfilling to all of us. Our dream is to not be complacent but to grow and become a vital part of the community.

K.O.P. has several events planned throughout the year and we hope to see you at these events.

Order of Osiris
While the Order of Osiris Ball "Tableau” has become a signature feature of Mobile’s oldest living alternative lifestyle organization, it was not all sequins and glitter in the beginning. The founder of Osiris began fundraising efforts in 1981 with the intent to establish a strictly gay Mardi Gras Association. The Order of Osiris has now grown over the years, changing with the times to become an all-inclusive Mardi Gras organization. Currently, the group has a variety of members ranging in age, gender, sexual orientation, and race. "We started out as a gay organization, but we’ve evolved to so much more.”

Southern Transgender Alliance
Southern Transgender Alliance (STA) is a support group for Transgender individuals and their friends, family, and allies. Our goal is to provide support in the form of friendships, education, mentoring, and transgender resources. These resources include web links, files, and forms dealing with a name change and gender marker change, information on trans-friendly doctors and therapists, and news related to trans issues. We hold monthly support group meetings every 2nd Saturday in conjunction with Rainbow Mobile's LGBTQ Adult Support group. We also periodically hold social events in trans-friendly spaces for our members and allies.
